How to use OmniPitch

Each blob is one note, at the pitch it is sung. The line through it is its pitch curve, its thickness its loudness; amber means more than 10¢ out of tune. Click a note to hear it on its own.

Tools (keys 1–7, or hold the right mouse button / `Q` and flick)

1 Pitch: Drag up or down by semitones, ⌘-drag for cents. Double-click snaps to the nearest semitone.
2 Modulation: Drag to scale the vibrato, 0–200%. Double-click flattens it.
3 Drift: The same for slow pitch wander (scoops, sags), keeping the vibrato.
4 Split: Click where a note should become two.
5 Time: Drag earlier or later. Double-click puts it back.
6 Volume: Drag up or down for ±dB. Double-click mutes.
7 Draw: Drag along a row to add a note the detector missed.

Notes

Select: Drag a box on empty space; Shift or ⌘-click adds one; ⌘A selects all. A drag on one edits them all.
Duplicate: ⌥-drag a note or the selection.
Fix the list: Delete removes a wrong note, J joins the selected ones.
Correct pitch…: Pulls the selected notes (or all) toward the nearest semitone and straightens their drift.

Listening and moving around

Play: Space. Click the ruler or waveform to jump. E switches original / edited, A turns hearing notes on and off.
Undo: ⌘Z
Scroll: Pans. ⌘-scroll or pinch zooms time, Shift-scroll zooms pitch, ⌥-drag pans.
Your own audio: Choose a file, or ● Record (R). Pick the method first: Basic Pitch, voices for singing.
